The Papilio Early Learning Centre at North Strathfield has been undergoing a metamorphous inside and out, with a fresh new playground and internal setup. The Mathiou Services team have been working closely with the Affinity Education & Papilio Early Learning North Strathfield to create an exciting space for current and future children.
The focus of the revamp for Papilio Early Learning was to create a special environment designed to be engaging and fun for the children of all ages and stages of development, aligning with the Papilio Early Learning Centre values. The revamp immersed both the outside play area and the inside of the centre.
The outdoor play area revamp included;
- A new cypress & merbeau wooden fort
- Magnificent spotted hardwood tepee topped with a sailor’s rope
- Three planter boxes with veggies and plants picked out by the children
- Raised decking surrounding the two sandpits
- New 40mm astro truf throughout the play area, including a multipurpose astro turf court to play handball or even lawn tennis
The inside of the centre was also given a facelift;
- New vinyl throughout the centre
- Fresh paint across the centre, matching all the Papilio colours
- Fitted out new cabinetry throughout the centre with a flash new front reception area
- Featured art walls, blackboards, mirrors, peg board, and art board for the children’s enjoyment
